Borderlands 2 has been out for a while now, and the folks at Gearbox Software have made sure that fans of the series won't be disappointed with what the game is packing. Most game developers these days, want their fans to enjoy more of the game even after they've already beaten it, hence the recent out break of downloadable content. The folks over at Gearbox Software are no exception to this rule, periodically releasing downloadable content to enrich the players gaming experience. The first bit of DLC was exported in the form of Gaige, the Mechromancer. A brilliant little inventor who just wants to "SMASH THE SYSTEM!!!"

What is truly interesting about this particular DLC is how they went about installing it. All of the characters released with the game have 4 "echo logs" hidden in specific areas. The discovery of each provides details regarding that particular characters back story. Since Gaige came late to the party she received a slightly different treatment. Four of her personal echo "blogs" were released on her Twitter account prior to her in game release. Since they are echo "blogs" and not logs, it's as if Gaige is talking directly to the player. You really get to hear all the shades of the Mechromancer's personality. But don't take my word for it. Check it out in the videos below.
