Trailer for Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX Hits the Internet

Written by  No Limit

At this year’s Tokyo Game Show Square Enix announced Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX, an HD compilation of the first Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories for the PlayStation 3 that also features PlayStation Trophy support and HD versions of the cinematic cutscenes from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.

The trailer for it has already hit the Internet with subtitles taken from the games’ original English localization. Feast your eyes below!

The more jaded gamer may gripe and wish Square would just get to making Kingdom Hearts III already. Admittedly, I’m also in that group. But hey, an HD version of the first game? An HD version of the first game’s FINAL MIX? I'd dig it.

For those unaware, the Kingdom Hearts series has a nasty habit of releasing another version of their games called the Final Mix version with extra features, cutscenes, enemies, and weapons. And they NEVER release them outside of Japan. That aggravated many a Kingdom Hearts fan. While it hasn't been announced for release outside of Japan, I do have high hopes for an HD 1.5 ReMIX international release. Come on, Square Enix. Give us a Final Mix finally!

The game is slated for release in Japan next year.
